Why this wine

Botmaskop is the Bordeaux blend Delaire Graff builds its reds around — four varieties, four weeks of extended skin contact on the Cabernet Sauvignon and sixteen months in French oak, all from mountain vineyards above the Banghoek Valley. The small berries of 2021 concentrated it without coarsening the tannins. It is the classical Cape Cabernet blend done with restraint.
