Why this wine
Gualtallary is the highest and stoniest of the four Gran Enemigo sites, and because all four share a blend and an ageing regime, this bottle is a direct reading of what 1,470 metres and limestone rock do to Cabernet Franc. Fifteen months in concrete rather than barrel keeps the graphite and herb edge intact. It is the most tensile wine in the Gran Enemigo set.
