Why this wine

Vines planted in 1963 in the centre of the Clos, in a vintage where April frost destroyed ninety per cent of the shoots and concentrated everything that survived. Grand Cru with this combination of old vines and tiny yields does not come round often, and the balance here is worth the wait.
