Why this wine
Uclés is a high, chalky corner of central Spain that few outside the country can name, and 800 metres of altitude is what keeps this fresh at 14.5%. Every parcel is fermented separately with no fixed recipe, then aged a year in French and American oak. Concentrated but not heavy.
