Why this wine

Les Bressandes from 50-year-old vines cropped at 23 hectolitres per hectare, farmed organically and bottled unfined and unfiltered — Beaune rarely arrives this concentrated at this level. The savoury, leafy side of Pinot Noir survives the ripeness of 2022 intact, which is the reason to buy Beaune rather than something warmer.
