Why this wine

High-altitude Chardonnay from the Hautes-Côtes, where cool north-west facing slopes and a wide day-night swing keep the acidity that warmer sites lose. Fermented and aged ten months in barrel, so there is genuine texture without heaviness. White Burgundy with the structure to reward a few years in the rack.
