Why this wine

Yering Station was Victoria's first vineyard and its Reserve Chardonnay is the serious end of the range, built from old Mendoza clone blocks picked by hand and chosen row by row using soil and canopy mapping. Blocking malolactic conversion keeps the acidity tight while 10 months in 500-litre puncheons adds texture rather than weight. A precise cool-climate Chardonnay that will reward a few years in bottle.
