Why this wine

Silver Seal is the dry Großes Gewächs from the single slope that gave German wine Spätlese. Whole-cluster pressing and six weeks in the estate's own old oak build concentration without leaving oak flavour. It is Rheingau Riesling at reference level, and it will hold for well over a decade.
