Why this wine

Rully is where the Cote Chalonnaise makes white Burgundy that tastes like the Cote de Beaune without the Cote de Beaune bill, and Vauvry is one of its better Premier Crus. Franck Grux handles oak with restraint, so the barrel shows as hazelnut and texture rather than sawdust. A useful way to drink a serious name at a sane price.
