Why this wine

Vietti is one of the Langhe's great names — Antonio Galloni named it Winery of the Year at Vinous in 2022 — and Trevìe blends fruit from three crus in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba and La Morra. A year split between used barriques, large casks and steel gives it polish without burying the Barbera. The most approachable way into the estate.
