Why this wine
Käferberg is one of the finest sites around Langenlois, and the Reserve bottling earns it: low yields, hand-sorted fruit and six months on lees build a texture most Grüner Veltliner never reaches. It has the weight and savoury depth to carry a whole meal rather than just the start of one. Rabl was named IWSC White Wine Maker of the Year twice in three years, and this is the bottle that explains why.
