Why this wine

An unusual wine with a good story: old-vine Grenache picked almost overripe and made dry in an Appassimento style, from one of the Roussillon's best-known estates. It gives Amarone-like richness at a fraction of the price, and Lafage's regenerative farming is a bonus.
