Why this wine
A Syrah-Viognier co-ferment from 1,400-metre vineyards in Gualtallary is a rare thing in Argentina, and Alejandro Vigil's version is restrained and savoury rather than jammy. Wild-yeast fermentation and foudre ageing keep it fresh and perfumed. Serious pedigree at a fair price.
