Why this wine

Rhône-style blends from South Africa offer some of the best value in juicy, food-friendly reds, and Brookdale is a young estate already turning heads. Whole-bunch fermentation and natural yeast give it more character than the price suggests, and it won a Silver medal at the SWA.
