Why this wine

Mâcon-Bussières rarely gets its own label, and Le Vieux Puits is a north-facing single site that holds its acidity in a warm corner of Burgundy. Fermenting half in barrel with lees stirring gives it a texture usually found further north in the Côte d'Or. A straightforward way into serious white Burgundy.
