Why this wine
Obeidy is Lebanon's indigenous white and almost nobody in the UK stocks a varietal example. This one comes from a family estate farming at altitude in the Bekaa, and it tastes of somewhere specific rather than of international Chardonnay or Sauvignon, at a price that invites curiosity.
