Central Otago Pinot Noir at this price is usually thin or over-extracted, and Rockburn's entry wine is neither. Matured in tank rather than oak, it keeps the region's cherry-and-spice character intact and drinks well from the first glass. It is the easiest way into one of New Zealand's best Pinot addresses.
