Why this wine
The fruit is drawn deliberately from both warm low-lying sites and cooler high-altitude ones, which is why the wine has layers rather than a single note of cherry. Twenty-one days on skins and 11 months on lees in French oak build texture without weight, all at 13% alcohol. It is the range's introduction to Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir.
