Why this wine

Resalte work only with Tempranillo, from eighty hectares of low-yielding vines around Peñafiel at the centre of Ribera del Duero. This is the estate's youngest wine, given just five months in French and American oak, so the fruit stays forward while the barrel adds polish. An easy way into a region better known for its grander bottles.
