Why this wine

Savennières is Chenin Blanc's most serious dry expression, and Le Moulin du Gué is one of the original plots this family farms. Barrel fermentation, partial malolactic and time on fine lees give it a creamy weight most Loire whites never reach, while the schist underneath keeps it taut.
