Why this wine

A Grosses Gewächs from the Mosel's most famous sundial slope, made from the estate's oldest ungrafted vines. Twelve months on lees in large oak gives it weight without blunting the slate-driven acidity. This is dry Mosel Riesling at full stretch, and it rewards a decade or more in the cellar.
