Why this wine

Rosé from Cabernet Franc rather than the usual Grenache or Syrah, which trades soft strawberry for a herbal, redcurrant edge and a spicy finish. Hand-picked Stellenbosch fruit, lees-aged for texture, from one of the Cape's showpiece estates. More interesting than most rosé at this price.
