Why this wine

Tempranillo Blanco is a rare white mutation of Rioja's great red grape, and few producers bottle it on its own. Nivarius grow it high and cool and ferment it wild, giving a white Rioja that is fresh and mineral rather than oaky, with a silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards to its name.
