Why this wine

The Cherrier family have farmed here since 1848, and this is Sancerre in its riper register - full and textured rather than lean, with the appellation's flint still running underneath. Minimal intervention in vineyard and cellar, with fruit drawn across all three of Sancerre's classic soil types.
