Why this wine
Emilia Romagna is better known for everyday reds than for serious rosé, and this is the exception: a single-vineyard Sangiovese pressed straight off the skins within the hour. It gives the range a genuinely pale, dry Italian rosé at an everyday price, made by an estate that has spent sixty years proving what Sangiovese can do. Crisp enough for the table, with just enough fruit to drink on its own.
