Why this wine

Two old friends set out in 2008 to make an English sparkling wine that could stand beside the best, and chose their chalk accordingly. Between 24 and 36 months on lees and a deep bank of reserve wines make the Brut Reserve rounder and more savoury than most English fizz. It is the bottle for anyone who finds the leaner English style too austere.
